Accounting I is a beginning level business finance course that introduces principles and procedures for proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations using double-entry accounting with emphasis on accounting principles as they relate to manual and automated financial systems.  This course will involve analyzing and recording business transactions and preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial reports as a basis for decision making.  Instructional strategies may include the use of computers, projects, simulations, and real world experiences to apply accounting theories and principles.  This course is open to all students in grades 10, 11, and 12.  There will be a lab fee and workbook fee charged for this class.
