Computer Applications is a business course designed to provide the student with instruction in computer hardware and software concepts including input and output devices, directory structure and management, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, database, graphics, and presentation software.  The Windows-based MS Office software will be used for applications.  Internet exploring and future technology trends will be explored in this class.  The emphasis in this course will be on usage of the computer through applications that are being used in the business office or in the universities.  Decisions on job priorities, effective time management, and machine usage will be stressed through practical applications.  It is recommended that every student take this course prior to graduation.  There will be a lab fee charged for this class.
