The independent study course is designed for a student who wishes to pursue additional in-depth study of one or more topics derived from FASHION DESIGN, NUTRITION AND WELLNESS, HUMAN DEVELOPMENT, PARENTING, OR INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS, Students are to use a critical science or planning process.  Independent, out-of class work, service-learning activities, or in-depth laboratory experiences are expected, and a thoroughly-documented student portfolio is required.
