8111   CURRENT PROBLEMS 11

This course combines the study of American Civics and Current Events.  The first semester curriculum includes American values, citizenship, our political heritage, the Constitution, basic national and local government, and the U. S. economy. Activities will include a “mock” Congress.  There will be a fee charged for this class.

 

Students will apply techniques of investigation and inquiry to the study of significant problems or issues.  Students will learn to recognize cause and affect relationships, enhance critical thinking techniques and develop cooperative learning skills.
