5006   COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS

Communication Systems is a broad course designed to introduce the student to different communication systems used in today’s technology. Students will be exposed to the various systems used in communication technology, how these systems are used to exchange/transfer information, and how people apply these systems to better their lives. The communication systems course has many features useful in reinforcing science, math, social studies, and language arts.  This is a one semester course and will permit the students to communicate by using computer aided design to create a product, write, print, and publish a newsletter, create printed products, screen print a design, use digital cameras and 35mm cameras to communicate and students will create, write and produce a commercial advertising a product.  There will be a fee charged for this class.
