5726   TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIETY 31

Semester, 1 credit

Prerequisite: None

The Technology and Society course is designed to lead students through a formal, hands-on study of the research process as it is applied to developmental operations in industry.  T&S is a synthesis course that allows students to apply research techniques, create problem solving skills, and identify, test, and communicate solutions to problems. Students will work as a team to research, design, and eventually build a working prototype of their initial concept. There will be a fee charged for this class.
