Welcome to Mr. Vannatter's English/Reading Classes.
I strongly believe that English and Reading are connected. You need English to Read and you need to Read in order to learn English.
I fully intend to put these two areas together as much as possible. Therefore, you will notice some overlap in the teaching methods as well as homework. Concentration will be placed on each class; however, students will need to work with both English and Reading in each class.
What this means is that students will be doing some Reading while in English class, and they will be using proper English in Reading. This will be explained in more detail as we go along.
