Each time a student chooses not to follow a classroom procedure/expectation or disrupts the class a negative Class Dojo point is given.
REWARDS
Positive Class Dojo are given out. Top 3 highest point levels each day will be able to pick out a class friend (ocean-themed stuffed animal) to sit at their desk. At the end of each day, each student who has not gotten a card pulled will get to color a green square on their daily behavior chart and 2 positive action cards. Earning positive action cards allow students to have their name read over the announcements, and spend earned positive action cards at the positive action store in December and in May (once a semester).
CONSEQUENCES
-1 Class Dojo Point: Warning
-2 Class Dojo Points: Pull to yellow card
-3 or more Class Dojo Points: Pull to red card
Consequences will be at the discretion of the teacher depending on the severity of the infraction. Students who pull a card during the day will not be able to earn a behavior positive action card. Depending on the severity of the infraction, the student may be writing sentences, losing recess time, making a call home, bringing home a note from the teacher, sent to the office, serving detention,etc. Should a student pull cards excessively, a copy of the documentation will be sent home for review and parent signature.
