Introduction
Welcome to French 1
This year you will receive an introduction to the French Language. We will work to develop your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in French. You will make your first steps toward communicating in French, as well as learn about the cultures of many places in the French-speaking world.
Projects
Current Events Project
Each grading period, you will be required to complete a current event project. This assignment is not accepted late. Please see the following documents for further explanation.
Music Monday
Every Monday is Music Monday! Each week a different French song will be selected. A variety of activities will be used in conjunction with the song to help improve pronunciation, build vocabulary or reinforce grammar.

Proverb Tuesday
Every Tuesday a French proverb will be presented. You will keep a list of these proverbs and what they translate to in English.
Faire et dire sont deux.
Saying and doing are two different things.
