Starting with the 2017-2018 school year - PowerTeacherPro (PTP) gradebook no longer requires you using VMware or the gradebook icon. You can use a Chromebook or Windows computer with no problems.

If you are not able to take attendance or you have a large space and have to scroll down - make sure Compatibility View is OFF (when using Internet Explorer)

Click Tools | Compatibility View Settings and make sure none of the boxes are checked!

My name is Theresa J. Pierce and I have been with the New Castle Community School Corporation since February, 1999.

I work with student records/state reporting for K-12 as well as assisting the schools in learning and utilizing productivity software (like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Publisher), web pages, PowerSchool/PowerTeacherPro, instructional technology & integration in the K-6 curriculum using SMART boards, as well as many other technology-related topics.

Visit the PRISM website (www.rose-prism.org), log in (you may have to create an account), and click the ‘Event Registration’ link. PowerTeacher gradebook has new features in version 2.5/2.6 (2.6 updated 10/28/2012)
This is for 13-14 school year. Includes an easier way to view attendance from gradebook.

2.5 /2.6 Key features include: 2.6 features in red. Most are enhancements relating to attendance and seating charts. No changes to entering grades.

Instructions for use:

1. Click one time on the underlined link
2. A window will open - click on Save
3. Make sure you click on the drop down arrow and find your U folder(if using at NCCSC
4. Click Save
5. A window will open that says File Downloaded
6. Click Open
7. Your project will open and you are ready to work!
