2220   ACCOUNTING II 31 – 32

Recommended Prerequisite: Accounting I

 

Accounting II is an advanced level business finance course that will expand upon the principles and procedures learned in Accounting I.  Emphasis will be placed on decisions made in the managerial accounting of corporations using more in-depth analysis of financial statements.  Instructional strategies may include the use of computers, projects, simulations, and real world experiences to apply accounting theories and generate reports.  This course is open to students in grades 11 and 12 who have successfully completed Accounting I.  There will a lab fee and a workbook fee charged for this class.
