0916   HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY WELLNESS II 31 (FAMILY RELATIONS AND PARENTING)

This course is family relations and parenting.  A realistic view of marriage and its role in our society is discussed.  Units on dating, mate selection, sexuality, in- laws, divorce, step-families, and finances are included.  The class stresses the importance of both the mother’s and father’s role in parenting.  This class includes facts, ideas, and problems relevant to parents today.  Students may “practice” parenting skills with a computerized “baby”.
