8112   CURRENT PROBLEMS 12

This course continues the study of American Civics and Current Events.  The second semester curriculum includes the U. S. economy, criminal law, civil law, politics, modern problems in society, foreign relations, and the environment.  Activities will include a “mock” trial.  There will be a fee charged for this class.

 

Students will apply techniques of investigation and inquiry to the study of significant problems or issues.  Students will learn to recognize cause and affect relationships, enhance critical thinking techniques and develop cooperative learning skills.
