2001 Our First Year
We begin our adventure in 2000 with 6 people listening to the founder of Renaissance speak at a nearby school on how it rewards academic success. We came back to New Castle and formed a Renaissance "team" that planned our first Rally in March, 2001. We held it the day before spring break, and rally #1 was a 90-minute fun-filled event with no particular theme. However, it was the start of something that was very well received by those in attendance. We had created a monster that simply had to be duplicated!
